Good Morning Meadowbrooke!

I read a quote from John Owen sometime this week that I have not been able to stop thinking about; here is what he said about the Christian: The greatest sorrow and burden you can lay upon the Father, the greatest unkindness you can do to Him is not to believe that He loves you.  After spending eight weeks in Ephesians 1, Owens statement about the love of God has unsettled me in a good way.  Think about it this way: if you are a Christian, it is only because of the richness of Gods mercy, the greatness of His love, and a grace that could never be earned or worked for (Eph. 2:1-5).

This Sunday, we will explore the richness of Gods mercy and the greatness of His love by turning our attention to Ephesians 2:1-5.  My encouragement to you is to take some time before this Sunday to thoughtfully and prayerfully read over these verses to reflect upon the magnitude of Gods mercy, love, and grace, that he displayed by making you, alive together with Christ.

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday at our 9:00 and 10:30 worship services!  Dont forget to set your clock forward this weekend; we will make sure there is plenty of coffee and tea for you when you arrive.

Peace,

Pastor Keith
