Good Morning Meadowbrooke!

What is it that will remain when everything else has been reduced to ashes or has been removed from you?  What is it that will remain true and unchanged?  At the end of the little prophetic book tucked away in your Bible are these words: Even if the fig tree does not blossom, and there is no fruit on the vines, if the yield of the olive fails, and the fields produce no food, even if the flock disappears from the fold, and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will triumph in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation (Habakkuk 3:17-18).  How, when all is lost, was Habakkuk confident that he would still rejoice in the God of his salvation?

This Sunday we will be exploring Ephesians 2:19-22 which answers how one is able to rejoice in God even when everything else has been lost or taken away.  I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday as it will be my hope and aim to help you get to the place Habakkuk was at with his relationship with God.

I look forward to seeing you in our 9:00 and 10:30 AM worship services this Sunday.  I also want to invite you to attend a very important meeting that will be held this Sunday evening concerning the findings from Meadowbrookes church survey, the launching of our new church app, and plans concerning the immediate and not so immediate future of some of the ministries related to Meadowbrooke.

Grace!

Pastor Keith

P.S. I am also planning a Q&A Sunday to answer any questions you may have related to our time in Ephesians.  I plan to have our Q&A Sunday during our regular worship services in place of the sermon, which we will do when I finish chapter 3 in Ephesians (should be sometime in May).  So, start submitting your questions!
